Either way they are making a super profit and they do it under the guise of doing you a favor.

Part of the warranty may include having to bring the car in every 2 months to have the protection renewed. If you don't come in, then the warranty will be voided and you've lost the money that you invested in the system. There are plenty of quality paint protection systems on the market that you can purchase for a fraction of the cost that the dealers offer them for and you can apply and maintain them yourself.
